Position: Content Creator & Marketing Intern

Location: In-house preferred (remote considered within 50 miles of Hudson, Wisconsin)

Duration: Start Range March 15 to May 1st – September 1, 2026

Compensation: $2500/month, paid on the 15th and 30th of each month

Position Overview
Domain Outdoor is seeking a dynamic and creative Content Creator & Marketing Intern to join our team for the 2026 season. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic individual skilled in video production, photography, and graphic design, with a passion for storytelling. Working closely with our Sales & Marketing Manager and CEO/Co-Founder, you’ll create compelling content to showcase our products and engage our audience across social media and other platforms.
This internship offers hands-on experience in content creation, social media management, and marketing within the outdoor industry. From producing the Beers N Bucks Podcast/Broadcast to crafting product launch videos and capturing lifestyle and wildlife b-roll, you’ll play a vital role in shaping our brand’s narrative.
Responsibilities
Content Creation:
  • Produce and edit videos for new product launches and the Beers N Bucks Podcast/Broadcast.
  • Shoot lifestyle b-roll and wildlife b-roll to highlight the outdoor experience and product use.
  • Conduct and organize 1-2 professional photo shoots per month with the Domain Outdoor team.
  • Create one comprehensive YouTube Episode (15-25 minutes) documenting your internship experience.
  • Design engaging social media graphics and ad visuals for products.
  • Shoot new product images
  • Help optimize website graphics and content
  • Assist with producing a monthly newsletter
  • Content Management:
  • Organize and maintain Domain Outdoor’s photo and video library.
  • Provide dealers with fresh marketing content monthly.
  • Assist in posting content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, YouTube, Facebook).
Collaboration:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align content with brand objectives and campaigns.
  • Contribute to creative strategies for product launches and promotions.
  • Conduct monthly audits of current partnerships
Qualifications
  • Current enrollment in a college or university program (preferred majors: Marketing, Communications, Media Production, Graphic Design, or related fields).
  • Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva, Illustrator).
  • Willing to be taught Affinity Design, Photo and Publisher if no prior experience. 
  • Strong photography and videography skills preferred, including experience capturing dynamic b-roll; familiarity with camera equipment (company-provided camera and computer equipment, but personal equipment is welcome).
  • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends, particularly in the outdoor or hunting industry.
  • Creative mindset with excellent storytelling and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for the outdoors, hunting, or land management is a plus.
  • Must be located within 50 miles of Hudson, Wisconsin, if working remotely.

Additional Details
  • Equipment: Camera and computer equipment provided; personal equipment may be used.
  • Travel: Occasional travel may be required for photo shoots, b-roll, or content creation. Food, gas, and housing will be covered for travel-related assignments.
  • Work Arrangement: In-house preferred at our Hudson, Wisconsin location, but remote work is an option for candidates within 50 miles.
  • Content Ownership: All content created during the internship is the property of Domain Outdoor.
