Tillage radishes seeds waiting for August planting with cereal rye. No BS seed purchased at TSC planted mid April only to get five weeks of cold wet (really wet!) weather . No winter oats at all visible but clovers and turnips now doing well enough considering the weather. just mowed off ferns with a hand scythe and some radishes (I think) have already been nipped off by passing deer.
It made a beautiful plot, but the deer have hardly touched it. Maybe I can give it a better review in another month.
these radishes grew awesome, despite having less than ideal growing conditions in northern Vermont. The pounders are extremely convenient to to fill in bare spots in an existing plot
