Frost seeded in April and have kept it mowed and it’s turned into a great plot.
As you can see, from a pic of the strip of soil in the food plot. None of the Comeback Kid came up at all. The picture of the seed that did come up is from Mossy Oak seed. It looks wonderful. Soil conditions, timing, prep, weather, and methods were all the same. This is defective seed batch. Lots of wasted time and fertilizer. What is your solution?
it’s been in for 4 weeks comeback kid and hot chic used the crank’d and the elbow grease. cleared 4 areas and it’s not growing in. any of them

Comeback kid is by far the best plot I ever planted...this is a picture of it coming out of winter as it first started to green up
Planted a month ago, and its coming in really well. Sprayed with Elbow Grease when I planted. Plan to hit it with Crank'd once it gets a little taller
This stuff has grown great planted in along a field edge I cleared out and have only put triple 13 on two times in growing stages it’s done fantastic looks beautiful. Only downside is haven’t had anything eat it I keep a camera on looking at it from the back of the plot and have only had one or two deer grazing around it, but over all growth is great.

This is a half acre plot I have worked diligently on starting in the fall of 2023 on my small property in central South Carolina .It was seeded with comeback kid and hot chic to start and I have over seeded it the following two winters in January with comeback kid. It looks to be exploding and really coming in to its own this year…..Thanks Domain!!
I was able to frost seed a backwoods kill plot in late January 2026 in central South Carolina before an ice/snow event that very rarely happens here. I am very impressed with the germination thus far and now that soil temperatures just reached 60 degrees I just applied CRANK’D for an extra boost….. Looking forward to seeing how it does thru the spring & moving forward. Thanks again Domain for making great products!

7 bucks and several does in plot of comeback kid daily , They truly love this blend very impressed even though we had a severe lack of rain it still grew and is definitely bringing them in

The deer are in the food plot every day at some point. It’s been very dry in my area for the past 3 weeks and it still attracts the deer and turkey. Very pleased with the results and would highly recommend domain outdoors seeds and products to anyone looking for a great food plot seed that’s easy to prepare and grow with some elbow grease and sweat equity you can have a great plot that is healthy and nutritious for the animals year round. 32 days in from planting. First time putting a food plot in. I couldn’t be happier with everything.
On my 3rd year of using Comeback Kid. Frost seeding in the late winter/early spring has worked great for getting the clover to establish early especially in those areas that are shaded after the tree canopy comes in. Comeback Kid will always be used on my hunt property as a minimal maintenance perennial plot
First time planting this product, 2nd year and it’s thriving! Plan on planting more in a couple other plots in the coming seasons. Highly recommend
Last year was my first year using Domain seed!! I will just let the picture do the talkin!!! Customer service is absolutely top notch! They will answer any questions as soon as possible and do not mess around getting things shipped!
I planted this along with a bag of sunflowers. I mainly done it like this so I can have the best of both worlds. Good pollinators for my bees and hopefully the turkeys like it also. Now it’s just a waiting game till fall season rolls around
Minimum Preparation, we did cultivate with a chisel plow to prevent soil compaction, and tilled the soil to break up everything. We spread the seed and 10 days later, this is our emergence. 4 acres planted, and will be planting an additional 8-10

I frost seeded this comeback kid and it turned out phenomenal! This will continue to grow for the next 3 or 4 years so the investment is worth it! Comeback Kid mixed with Hot Chic is my all time favorite for frost seed.
Started using Domain seeds in the spring of 2023. As a first time food plotter, I found their products super easy to use. After taking soil samples, I added 400 lbs of lime to the soil, hand raked that in, broadcasted my mix then used a cultipacker for good seed to soil contact. With rain the day after planting, I saw germination within 5 days of planting. By August, the clover and chicory were shin high and the deer were hammering it. Can’t wait to see how well it looks in year 2

Been using this mix to frost seed clover each year and it’s been a great blend I can rely on to get the job done feed the deer and give lots of tonnage for harsh craving drowt tolerant ph tolerant and easy to do no till methods with def recommend this blend for anyone trying to do a nice plot with minimal equipment.. you just don’t need a tractor with a tiller attachment with all the bells and whistles to have a nice plot

Comeback Kid should be the basis of any management program! The clovers and alfalfa really start to shine in the second year, and I have deer and turkeys in it daily (even geese too lol). It tolerates heavy browse pressure, and greens up first in the spring. I got my biggest turkey in my Comeback Kid plot last Spring. 10/10 Highly recommend!
This spring I frost seeded Hot Chic and Comeback Kid over some existing clover plots that were marginal. These plots are now the best I’ve ever had. Between the awesome seed and quick responses to my technical questions (I’m no farmer for sure) it was a no-brainer to make the switch to Domain for all my seed. The plots I planted last week exploded and in my 20 years of food plotting, I’ve never had new plots look so good so fast! I can’t say enough good things about Domain or their products.
